India names squads for ODI and T20I home series against West Indies

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) today named 18-member squads for the ODI and T20I home series against the West Indies next month.
Rohit Sharma, who missed the South Africa tour because of a hamstring injury, will lead the team. K L Rahul is the vice-captain.
Team India are set to play three ODIs at the Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad from February 6 followed by the three-matchT20I series at the Eden Gardens, Kolkata from February 16.
A press release from the BCCI said pace bowlers Jasprit Bumrah and Mohammad Shami had been rested from the series.
Vice-captain K L Rahul will be available from the 2nd ODI onwards, it said.
Ravindra Jadeja is undergoing his final stage of recovery post his knee injury and will not be available for both the series.
Axar Patel, who also missed the South Africa series due to injury, will be available for the T20Is, the release said.
