5 killed, 4 injured while travelling on roof of train

Five youths, who were travelling on the roof of the Gwalior-Udaipur Mail train were killed and four others injured when they hit a flyover between Ajmer and Bhilwara stations in Rajasthan early today.
According to railway and police sources, the youths, probably going to appear in the Rajasthan Patwari recruitment examination being held in the state, were found dead orinjured when the train reached Bhilwara from Ajmer around 0400 hrs, they said.
The site of accident was yet to be ascertained as there are two railway bridges between Ajmer and Bhilwara. The train has no other stop between the two stations, they said.
The injured were admitted to Mahatma Gandhi Hospital at Bhilwara from where one critically injured was referred to JLN Medical College Hospital in Ajmer.
Three of the deceased hailed from Sikar district and one each from Jaipur and Hanumangarh districts, the sources said.
Divisional Manager Railway, Ajmer and other officials have rushed to Bhilwara, they added.
