Rudrendra Tandon appointed as India's next Ambassador to Afghanistan

New Delhi, August 10, 2020

Rudrendra Tandon, presently Ambassador of India to ASEAN, has been appointed as the country's next Ambassador to Afghanistan.

A press release from the Ministry of External Affairs issued on Friday said Tandon, an Indian Foreign Service (IFS) officer of the 1994 batch, was expected to take up his new assignment shortly.
