The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) today decared the final results of the Indian Forest Service (Main) Examination 2015 held by it in November-December, 2015 followed by Personality Test in January-February this year.
Accordingly, it has published the list, in order of merit, of candidates who have been recommended for appointment to posts in Indian Forest Service.
In all, 110 candidates have been recommended for appointment --
49 (including 1 PH-3) in General category; 35 (including 2 PH-2 and 2 PH-3) in Other Backward Classes (OBC) category; 18 in Scheduled Castes (SC) category and 8 in Scheduled Tribes (ST) category, an official press release said.
Appointment to the Service shall be made by the Government according to the number of vacancies available and fulfillment of other criteria, it said.
The number of vacancies intimated by the Government are 110 in all (including 2 PH-2 and 2 PH-3) -- 57 in General, 29 in OBC, 16 in SC and SC in ST categories.
The release said the candidature of four recommended candidates with following roll numbers is provisional: 0102397 0128197
According to the release, the following is the list of candidates recommended for appointment:
