The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) today declared the final results of the Indian Forest Service (Main) Examination 2016 held by it November 2016 and the Personality Test held in February-March 2017.
In all, 110 candidates have been recommended, including 2 PH-2 and one PH-3 candidates, an official press release said.
They include 48 General candidates (including 1 PH-2), 37 Other Backward Classes candidates (including 1 PH-2 and 1 PH-3), 17 Scheduled Caste (SC) candidates and 8 Scheduled Tribe (ST) candidates, the release said.
According to it, appointment to the service will be made by the Government according to the number of vacancies available and fulfilling of other criteria.
The number of vacancies intimated by the Government are 110, including 2 PH-2 and 1 PH-3 candidates. These include 57 General, 29 OBC, 16 SC and 8 ST candidates, it said.
