President to address nation tomorrow on R-Day eve

New Delhi, January 24, 2010

President Pratibha Patil will address the nation tomorrow evening on the eve of the 61st Republic Day.

The address will be telecast over all channels of Doordarshan and All India Radio (AIR) in Hindi, followed by English, from 1900 hours onwards.

In addition, AIR will broadcast the regional language versions of the address over its regional channels from 2130 hours onwards, an official press release added.
