IndiGo to fly to Istanbul effective March 2019

Low-cost carrier IndiGo has announced that it will launch daily non-stop flights between Delhi and Istanbul in Turkey effective March 20 with Airbus A321 aircraft.
The Turkish city will be its 16th international destination and IndiGo will become the first Indian carrier to fly into Turkey, a press release from the airline said.
"The new flights are designed to cater to business and leisure travellers who are constantly on the lookout for new and affordable flying options," it said.
Mr. William Boulter, Chief Commercial Officer, IndiGo said, “We are delighted to announce Istanbul as our 16th international destination effective March 2019. It is our privilege to be the first Indian carrier to fly into Turkey. Istanbul is one the most attractive tourist cities in the world and the gateway from Asia into Europe.
