IIMs declare results of Common Admission Test (CAT 2021)

The Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs) today declared the results of their Common Admission Test (CAT) 2021.
Candidates can download their official CAT 2021 scorecards by logging into the CAT 2021 website , a press release from the CAT 2021 Committee said.
CAT 2021 was conducted on November 28, 2021 at 438 test centres across 156 cities in India in three shifts.
Around 1.92 lakh candidates appeared for the examination out of the 2.30 lakh who had registered. Of the 1.92 lakh candidates, 35% were female, 65% male, with two candidates from the transgender category.
The IIMs will now release their shortlists for interviews and other admission processes based on, among other things, the CAT scores.
The CAT is used by the IIMs for admissions to their flagship post-graduate programmes in management. As many as 88 other institutions will also use the CAT scores for admission into their management programmes this year.
According to the release, nine candidates, all males, scored 100 percentiles. Another 19 candidates, again all males, scored 99.99 percentiles, while 19 candidates, including one female candidate, scored 99.98 percentiles.
Of the nine candidates who scored 100 percentiles, 7 graduated in engineering disciplines and two in others. The corresponding numbers were 16 and 3 for those with 99.99 percentiles and 15 and 4 for those with 99.98 percentiles.
