Delhi's daily COVID cases dip to 381, deaths come down to 34

Delhi today reported 381 new cases of COVID-19 and 34 deaths due to the coronavirus disease in the last 24 hours.
The number of fresh cases of infection is the lowest since March 10, when the national capital had reported 370. However, the city had reported only three deaths on that date.
According to the Delhi State Bulletin issued today, the daily positivity rate, which has been below 1 per cent for over a week, stood at 0.50 per cent. The daily Covid positivity rate on March 10 was 0.52 per cent.
With today's numbers, the total number of COVID-19 positive cases so far in the city has risen to 1,429,244 while the death toll has increased to 24,591.
As many as 1,189 patients were discharged from hospitals today, taking the total number of recovered patients so far to 1,398,764.
There were a total of 5,889 active cases of COVID-19 in the city as of this evening, including 2,327 patients in home isolation.
The national capital, which has been under strict lockdown since April 19, will see markets, and movement of people will restart from Monday again with certain restrictions.
