Delhi Metro extends services to Dwarka Sector 21

The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) today extended its train services from Dwarka Sector 9 to Dwarka Sector 21, thereby adding another 2.76 km to its network.

There are two stations on this new stretch - Dwarka Sector 8 and Dwarka Sector 21, a spokesman for the DMRC said.

The first train on the new section, which is part of the Noida-Dwarka line, was flagged at 0600 hours today.

With this, the DMRC has a total operational Metro network of approximately 156 km with 132 stations.
