Cold but bright day in Delhi, flight operations remain normal

People of Delhi had another cold but bright day, with the minimum temperature dropping slightly to 5.6 degrees Celsius last night, two degrees below normal for this time of the year.
The maximum temperature in the past 24 hours was 18 degrees C, three degrees below normal, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said.
There was moderate fog around the airport this morning, but flights to and from Delhi were not affected much, sources said. The capital had a mainly clear sky for the rest of the day and the IMD said maximum temperature was expected to be around 19 degrees C today.
The IMD said the minimum and maximum temperatures would be around 6 and 20 degrees C, respectively, tomorrow with possibility of fog in the morning.
