Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi to visit India on June 8-9

Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi will visit India on June 8-9 in the capacity of Special Envoy of the President of China.

"The objective of the visit is to establish contact with the new Government of India," an official press release from the Ministry of External Affairs said.

"The visit is an important element of the Year of India-China Friendly Exchanges and will provide further momentum to the India-China Strategic and Cooperative Partnership," it added.
