KPTL receives new orders valued at Rs 880 crore

Infrastructure company Kalpataru Power Transmission Limited (KPTL) today said it had secured new orders worth about Rs 880 crore.
These included five international transmission line projects in Tanzania, Ukraine, Thailand, Tajikistan and Ethiopia valued at Rs 465 crore, a press release from the company said.
The company also secured a turnkey contract worth Rs 342 crore for a 400 KV transmission line from Karnataka Power Transmission Corporation Ltd and a pipeline laying project valued at Rs 75 crore from the public sector GAIL India Limited.
Mr Manish Mohnot (Managing Director), KPTL, said, “We are successfully penetrating in international markets across Africa, CIS and Asian region on the back of our execution track and prudent project selection. We continued to gain market share in domestic market specifically in PGCIL and SEBs."
