Low-cost carrier IndiGo has announced the launch of a new flight betwen Delhi and Dammam in Saudi Arabia with effect from March 10.
Dammam will be IndiGo's 24th international destination and its third in Saudi Arabia after Jeddah and Riyadh. With this new addition, the airline will now operate a total of five daily direct flights connecting Dammam with Mumbai, Hyderabad, Kozhikode, Trivandrum and Delhi.
William Boulter, Chief Commercial Officer, IndiGo said, “We are delighted to launch a connection from Delhi to Dammam, strengthening our presence in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. We witness a huge demand for travel between India and Saudi Arabia, on account of commercial opportunities and visiting friends and relatives. As we strive to add more routes and offer flexibility to our customers, these routes will help promote trade and tourism through increased mobility between the two countries."
