Global crude oil price of Indian basket falls to $ 50.39/bbl

The international crude oil price of the Indian basket, as computed and published today by the Petroleum Planning and Analysis Cell (PPAC) under the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas, fell to $ 50.39 per barrel (bbl) yesterday from $ 50.44 per bbl on the  previous publishing day of  March 17.
An official press release said that, in rupee terms, the price of the Indian basket decreased to Rs. 3294.95 per bbl on 20.03.2017 as compared to Rs. 3305.67 per bbl on 17.03.2017. 
The rupee closed stronger at Rs. 65.38 per US$ on 20.03.2017 as compared to Rs. 65.54 per US$ on 17.03.2017, the release added.
