Global crude oil price of Indian basket decreases to $ 106.25/bbl

The international crude oil price of the Indian basket, as computed today by the Petroleum Planning and Analysis Cell (PPAC) under the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas, went down to $ 106.25 per barrel (bbl) on 03.06.2014. 

This was lower than the price of $ 106.88 per bbl on previous publishing day of 02.06.2014, an official press release said.

In rupee terms, the price of the Indian basket decreased to Rs 6291.06 per bbl on 03.06.2014 as compared to Rs 6320.88 per bbl on 02.06.2014.  The rupee closed weaker at Rs 59.21 per US$ on 03.06.2014 as against Rs 59.14 per US$ on 02.06.2014, it added.
