Jaganmohan Reddy gets bail in disproportionate assets case
YSR Congress president Y S Jaganmohan Reddy was granted bail on a personal surety of Rs 2 lakhs by the CBI Court in Nampally here today in the disproportionate assets case against him.
The court also laid down some conditions, which included that Mr Reddy should not leave Hyderabad without its permission or meet witnesses in the case.
The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has so far submitted ten chargesheets in the case so far to the court.
According to Ms.Y.S.Vijayalakshmi, honorary president of YS Congress and mother of Mr Reddy, he would be released from the Chanchalguda Jail
tomorrow.
Soon after the news was made public, joyous scenes were seen in different parts of the state when YSR Congress leaders and workers came onto the streets and distributed sweets.
Mr Reddy has been lodged in the Chanhalguda Jail since May 2012.
