Actor Manoj Bajpai opens Indian Panorama at IFFI 2014

The Indian Panorama opened at the 45th International Film Festival of India (IFFI) 2014 with the screening of Paresh Mokashi's feature film Elizabeth Ekadashi and Shabnak Sukhdev's non-feature film The Last Adieu.
Well-known actor Manoj Bajpai was the chief guest at the opening. He and Festival Director Shankar Mohan felicitaed the jury of both sections on the occasion.
The jury for the feature films included A.K. Bir (chairman), SatarupaSanyal, Vinod Ganatra, Ganga Raju Gunnam, Utpal Borpujari, Oinam Gautam Singh, Gautaman Bhaskaran and Sameer Hanchate. Members of jury for the nonfeature films present incuded Abhiram Bhadkamkar, Babu Kambrath, Oinam Doren, R. Buvana, Shila Datta and Vivek Mohan.
The cast and crew of both the films were introduced to the audience and felicitated by Mr Bajpai.
The features section of the Panorama will feature 26 films. They include seven Malayalam films -- 1983, North 24 Kaatham, Njan Steve Lopez, Drishyam, Munnariyippu, Swapaanam and Njaan -- and five Bengali films -- Punashcha, Chotoder Chobi, Bodhon, Jodi Love Dile Na Praane and Teenkahon.
