Indian Forest Service Exam from July 10

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) will hold the Indian Forest Service Examination 2010 from July 10 onwards.

An official press release said the examination would be held at various centres across the country.

Candidates must apply in the Common Application Form devised by the Commission for its examinations, which can be purchased from designated Head Post Offices/Post Offices throughout the country.

Details regarding the eligibility, conditions, syllabus and scheme of the examination, centres of examination and guidelines for filling up the form are available on the UPSC website.

The last date for receiving applications is March 22. In respect of candidates residing abroad or in certain specified remote areas, the last date for receipt of applications by post/speed post only (not by hand or by courier) is March 29, the release added.
