4 killed, 9 hurt in Delhi road accident

Four persons, including two men of the Border Security Force (BSF), were killed when a speeding bus rammed into a van carrying personnel of the paramilitary force on the Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) corridor in South Delhi last night, police said today.

The other two killed in the accident, which took place near Sadiq Nagar around 11.30 pm last night, were a motorcyclist, identified as Sanjay, and a scooterist, Surendra.

The BSF men killed were identified as Ranveer, driver of the van, and Deepak, sources said.

The bus is learnt to have first hit the van and then the motorcycle and the scooter on the BRT corridor.

The nine injured people, including seven BSF personnel, were taken to the All India Insitute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) for treatment, the sources added.
