Madhuri Dixit to star in Vishal Bharadwaj's Dedh Ishquiya

Well-known Bollywood actress Madhuri Dixit has confirmed that she would be playing the female lead in Vishal Bhardwaj's Dedh Ishqiya, the sequel to his 2010 film Ishqiya, which had starred Vidya Balan, Naseeruddn Shah and Arshad Warsi.
"Hey guys, back in action. On set for Star's Life OK. Am doing Dedh Ishquiya . Jhalak right around the corner. More to come!" the actress said yesterday on her page on micro-blogging website Twitter.
According to reports, the sequel will retain Shah and Warsi as the main male characters.
Dixit, who got married to United States-based Sriram Nene, had acted in the 2007 film Aaja Nach Le after which she returned to the US.
Last year, she appeared on television dance reality show Jhalak Dikhla Jaa as a judge. A few months ago, she shifted permanently to India with her family and Ishqiya would be her first film after the move.
According to reports, Dixit will also be judging the fifth season of Jhalak Dikhla Jaa.
