Delhi has cold, bright day with min. temp. at 4 degrees C

People in Delhi woke up to a cold, though bright, morning with the minimum temperature dropping to 4 degrees Celsius, five notches below normal for this time of the year, making last night one of the coldest in February in the past decade in the city.
 
The maximum temperature yesterday was 19.3 degrees C, three degrees below normal, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said.
 
The minimum temperature yesterday was 8.5 degrees C.
 
The IMD forecast a mainly clear sky for the day today, with the maximum temperature around19 degrees C.
 
It said the capital would have a mainly clear sky tomorrow also with the minimum temperature at 4 degrees C and the maximum at 21 degrees C.
