Railways' revenue earnings up 10.41% during April-January

Indian Railways' earnings went up by 10.41 per cent to Rs 84155.40 crore from Rs 76223.07 crore in the same period last year, an official statement said here today.
 
The total goods earnings went up from Rs. 50916.21 crore during April-January 2010-11 to Rs  56247.30 crore during the same period of this financial year, registering an increase of 10.47 per cent. 
 
The total passenger revenue earnings during the first ten months of the financial year 2011-12 were Rs. 23345.48 crore compared to Rs. 21336.88 crore during the same period last year, registering an increase of 9.41 per cent.
