20 killed, 19 injured in bus-truck collision in Uttar Pradesh

At least 20 people were killed and 19 others suffered injuries when a bus carrying them  collided with a truck near Haveli village in Oncha area of Mainpuri district in Uttar Pradesh this evening, police sources said.

The sources told NetIndian over the telephone from Mainpuri that the bus belonged to a local school and was carrying the passengers from Rathrea village for an engagement ceremony at Bagwala in Etah district. The bus overturned in the impact of the collision, they said. 
 
The sources said at least 20 people had died in the incident, adding the details were still being ascertained.
