Railways to set up SPV for modernisation, redevelopment of stations

The Railways will set up Railway Stations Development Corporation Limited, a special purpose vehicle (SPV) to take up modernisation and redevelopment of stations across the country.
 
A memorandum of understanding (MoU) was signed in this regard here today by IRCON International Limited (IRCON) Managing Director Mohan Tiwari and Rail Land Development Authority (RLDA) Vice-Chairman Pankaj Jain, an official press release said.
 
Those present on the occasion included Railways Minister Dinesh Trivedi, Minister of State K. H. Muniyappa and Railway Board Chairman Vinay Mittal.
