PM to inaugurate conference of Chief Secretaries of States on February 3

Prime Minister Manmohan Singh will inaugurate a conference of Chief Secretaries of all States and Union Territories convened here on February 3-4 to deliberate on innovation and transparency and accountability in governance.

The conference has been organised by the Department of  Administrative Reforms & Public Grievances (AR & PG).
 
The theme of the conference will be: "Nurturing Innovation and Transparent and Accountable Governance with regard to Effective Public Service Delivery and Infrastructure – Forcing the Pace".
 
Minister of State for Personnel, Public Grievances & Pensions V.Narayanasamy, the Cabinet Secretary, the Principal Secretary to the Prime Minister, Secretary AR &PG, Secretaries of various Ministries/Departments, Chief Secretaries of the States/UTs and senior officers of various departments will attend the conference.
