IRCTC extends "Companion Travels Free" offer on Buddhist Circuit special train

The Indian Railways Catering & Tourism Corporation (IRCTC), a public sector undertaking under the Ministry of Railways, has extended its "Companions Travel Free" offer for Indian nationals traveling on the Mahaparinirvan Express, a Buddhist circuit special train, to trips commencing on February 4 and 13 also.
 
The all-inclusive price for two people would now be Rs. 45,500 for AC 2 Tier, an official press release said here today.
 
This has been done to provide an opportunity for domestic tourists to experience the rich culture and spiritual heritage of India and travel in the footsteps of Lord Buddha, it said.
