Minor quake recorded in Rohtak-Sonipat region of Haryana

An earthquake of slight intensity, measuring 3.5 on the Richter scale, was recorded in the border region between Rohtak and Sonipat districts of Haryana in the early hours of today.

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) said the quake, which had its epicentre at 28.8 degrees North and 76.7 degrees East, occurred at 0454 hours at a depth of 10 km.
