Wind turbine manaufactuer Suzlon Energy Limited today said its subsidiary REpower Systems SE had concluded a contract for the delivery of 25 wind turbines of the MM92 type with United States-based developer enXco – an EDF Energies Nouvelles company.

The turbines will be used at the Shiloh IV wind farm, situated in Solano County, California. After completion, the wind farm will have a power output of more than 50 megawatts (MW), a press release from Suzlon said.

In 2008 and 2011 REpower delivered wind turbines for enXco’s Shiloh II and Shiloh III wind farms. Together, Shiloh II, III and IV wind farms will have a capacity of more than 300 MW which makes them REpower’s largest US wind project to date.
