Nesar Ahmad elected president of ICSI for 2012

Nesar Ahmad, a practising company secretary here, has been elected as the president of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) for 2012.
At elections held here yesterday, S N Ananthasubramanian was chosen as the new vice-president of the institute.
Ahmad was the vice-president of the ICSI in 2011. Ananthasubramanian, the new vice- president, is a practising company secretary in Thane, Maharashtra.
The ICSI is a statutory professional body constituted under the Company Secretaries Act, 1980 (Act No. 56 of 1980) passed by the Parliament of India.
