Rajiv, an Indian Police Service (IPS) officer, has been appointed as Director General of Central Industrial Security Force (CISF).
 
He is presently working as Director General of the National Disaster Response Force and Civil Defence (NDRF&CD). He is an IPS officer of the 1975 batch (Uttar Pradesh cadre).
