Kiran Dhingra is new Textiles Secretary, Loretta Mary Vaz moves to Panchayati Raj Ministry

Kiran Dhingra, presently Secretary, Ministry of Panchayati Raj, has been appointed as the new Secretary, Ministry of Textiles.
Dhingra, an Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer of the 1975 batch (UT cadre), will succeed Rita Menon, who has retired.
Dhingra's place in the Panchayati Raj Ministry will be taken by Loretta Mary Vas, IAS (UP;77), currently Special Secretary, Department of Economic Affairs, Ministry of Finance.
Vas was earlier posted as Secretary, Department of Pharmaceuticals, the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has now cancelled that order.
Dilsher Singh Katha, IAS (PB:77), presently in the cadre, has been appointed as Secretary, Department of Pharmaceuticals, Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilizers in the vacancy of Mukul Joshi, IAS (PB:75) (Retired), an official press release added.
