India Tourism holds road shows in Saudi Arabia to attract high-end tourists

In an effort to tap high-end tourists from Saudi Arabia, the Ministry of Tourism organised road shows between January 7 and 11 at Riyadh, Jeddah and Dammam in the kingdom.
A strong Indian delegation comprising officials from the Tourism Departments of Jammu & Kashmir and Maharashtra, members of the Indian Association of Tour Operators (IATO), Air India, Jet Airways, Taj Group of Hotels, and medical and wellness facilities were present to showcase the multitude of tourist attractions of India to the Saudi Arabian traveler.
The Indian delegation was led by Union Tourism Secretary R H Khwaja, an official press release said.
The Jammu & Kashmir delegation was led by state Tourism and Culture Minister Nawang Rigzin Zora and Minister of State for Tourism Nasir Aslam Wani. Indian Ambassador Hamid Ali Rao was also present during the event in Riyadh.
