P K Misra is new Secretary, Department of Personnel & Training

P K Mishra, presently Secretary, Ministry of Steel has been appointed as Secretary, Department of Personnel and Training.
 
Misra, an Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer of the 1976 batch (Uttar Pradesh cadre), will succeed Alka Sirohi.
 
An official press release said the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) had also approved the appointment of Pradeep Kumar Pujari, IAS (GJ:81), presently Executive Director, Food Corporation of India, Department of Food & Public Distribution, Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution, as Additional Secretary and Financial Adviser, Department of Agriculture Research & Education, Ministry of Agriculture, in the vacancy of Chaman Kumar, IAS (GJ:78) (Retd.)
