Tamil Nadu: DVAC raids premises of key TNPSC officials

Officials of the Directorate of Vigilance and Anti-Corruption (DVAC) today raided the premises of some of the key officials of the Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) following alleged irregularities in recruitment in government jobs.

DVAC sources said the raids, which began at 0700 hrs, were being conducted at 70 places spread over 12 districts of the State.
 
In Chennai, the raids were carried out in at least 13 places, the sources said, adding, the residences of those who sat for the TNPSC examinations to get recruitment were also raided.
