Janardhana Reddy's judicial custody extended till Jan 25

A CBI Special Court today extended the judicial custody of former Karnataka Minister Gali Janardhana Reddy, his brother-in-law and Obulapuram Mining Company (OMC) Managing Director B V Srinivas Reddy and two others accused in the illegal mining case till January 25.

The Reddys, who are currently lodged in Chanchalaguda Jail here, and another accused ex-Director of AP Mines and Geology Department V D Rajagopal, were produced before the court which extended the remand.
 
The Reddys were arrested from Bellary in Karnataka by CBI on September 5 last year for their alleged involvement in the case.
