2008 Bangalore blast: SC refuses bail to Madani

The Supreme Court today refused to grant bail to People's Democratic Party (PDP) vice-president Abdul Naseer Madani allegedly involved in 2008 Bangalore blast conspiracy.
 
The court, however, directed jail authorities to provide proper medical treatment to the accused.
 
Madani was seeking bail on medical grounds besides contending that he has been falsely implicated in the case for extraneous considerations and has no role to play in the terrorist act.
