Punjab polls: SAD announces third list of candidates

The ruling Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) in Punjab today released its third list of candidates for the coming Assembly elections in the state.
 
With this the SAD has announced candidates for 72 seats. Party president Sukhbir Singh Badal said 22 more nominees would be announced shortly.
 
SAD Secretary and party spokesman Daljeet Singh Cheema will contest from Ropar constituency and former MP Prem Singh Chandumajra will contest from Fatehgarh Sahib.
 
Other candidates included in the third list were Sarwan Singh Phillaur (Kartarpur SC). Avinash Chander (Phillaur SC), Jathedar Des Raj Dhugga (Sri Hargobindpur SC), Satinder Kaur Kariha (Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar-Nawanshehar), Hakim Singh Giaspura (Ludhiana South), Mahesh Inder Singh Nihalsinghwala (Bagha Purana), Jagdeep Singh Cheema (Amloh) and Justice (retd) Nirmal Singh (Bassi Pathana SC).
