Noted journalist K P Menon passes away at 75 in Jaipur

Veteran journalist and former Jaipur bureau chief of United News of India (UNI) K P Menon passed away here this morning.
 
He was 75. He is survived by his wife, two daughters and a son.
 
Menon, who was unwell for some time, was admitted to a private hospital here about a week ago.
 
During his more than three decade-long career with UNI, Menon had held charge at many of the agency's centres including Jaipur, Madurai and Kochi.
 
He had also served as Editor and head of administration and marketing at the agency's head office in New Delhi for two years.
 
Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot expressed grief over his death. Gehlot had called on him at the hospital four days ago to enquire about his health.
