5 killed in bus-truck collision in Karnataka

Five people were killed and 15 others injured when a bus collided head-on with a truck near Yaraballi at Hiriyur taluk in Chitradurga district of Karnataka today.
 
Police, quoting initial reports, said the bus was coming from Chellakare to Bangalore when the mishap occurred.
 
The condition of four of the injured was said to be serious. They were admitted to Hiriyur Hospital, police added.
