TI expands capacity for 2-wheeler automotive chains by 20%

TI Diamond Chains (TIDC), a  unit of Tube Investments of India Ltd (TII), part of the Murugappa Group, has expanded the production facility at its Hyderabad unit for two-wheeler automotive chains by 20 per cent.
 
A press release from the company said here today that it had invested Rs 30 crore on the facility.
 
“This facility has been set up with the state-of-the-art equipment to be run with the best in class practices. This would enable TI to meet the growing demand from its auto customers, with much higher levels of quality and reliability," Mr M M Murugappan, Vice-Chairman of the Murugappa Group, said.
