Congress wins Ratia assembly seat in Haryana

The ruling Congress in Haryana won the Ratia (SC) assembly seat in the state while the opposition HJC-BJP was leading in Adampur as the counting for the November 30 bye-elections progressed today.

Congress candidate Jarnail Singh defeated his nearest rival Sarfi Devi (INLD) by a margin of 12,703 votes. The Congress has wrested the seat from the INLD.

In Adampur constituency HJC-BJP candidate Renuka Bishnoi was leading by 18,734 votes over her nearest rival Kulvir Singh Beniwal of the Congress.
