Mild quake recorded in Delhi-Haryana border region

A mild earthquake, measuring 2.5 on the Richter scale, was recorded in the Delhi-Haryana border region last night, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said here today.
 
The quake, which had its epicentre at latitude 28.8 degrees north and longitude 77.0 degrees East, occurred at 0039 hours today at a depth of 10 km, an IMD bulletin added.
