Manu Sharma gets five-day parole to attend wedding

The Delhi High Court today granted five day parole to Manu Sharma, who is undergoing life term for murder of model Jessica Lal in 1999, to attend his brother's wedding.
 
Justice V K Shali, while granting parole to Sharma, directed him to restrict his stay to Chandigarh, Karnal and Ambala only.
 
The court had asked Delhi Police if they had objections if Sharma was released on parole to attend the wedding. Police standing counsel Pawan Sharma said they had no objections.
 
However, they wanted an assurance from him that he will not violate the parole guidelines as on a previous occasion.
