Congress names candidates for bye-elections in Haryana, HP, Jharkhand

 

The Congress today announced its candidates for the assembly bye-elections to five assembly seats in Haryana, Himachal Pradesh and Jharkhand.
 
According to a press release by party general secretary Oscar Fernandes, Congress President Sonia Gandhi had approved the name of Jarnail Singh for the bye-election to the Ratia (SC) legislative assembly seat and Kuldeep Beniwal for the Adampur constituency, both in Haryana.
 
Lakhvinder Rana is the candidate for the bye-election to the Nalagarh assembly seat in Himachal Pradesh while Vinay Kumar has been selected as the candidate for the Rainka (SC) Assembly seat in that state.
 
Kumar Mahesh Singh has been selected the Congress candidate for the bye-election to the Mandu Assembly seat in Jharkhand.
