Minor quake recorded in Assam-Arunachal Pradesh border region on Sunday evening

An earthquake of slight intensity, measuring 3.6 on the Richter scale, was recorded in the Assam-Arunachal Pradesh border region yesterday evening, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said.

An IMD bulletin said the quake, which had its epicentre at latitude 26.9 degrees North and longitude 92.3 degrees East, occurred at 1908 hours yesterday at a depth of 5 km.
