Tamil actress Manorama undergoing treatment for brain injury

Popular Tamil actor and comedienne Manorama was admitted to a hospital after she suffered a fall at her residence.

Manorama, who used to have the audiences in splits as a comedienne, has  shared screen space even with legends like M G Ramachandran and Sivaji Ganesan. She has also exhibited her talent as a character actress with the present generation of stars.

She was admitted to the hospital a couple of days back. She was diagnosed for sub-dural haemorrhage, a traumatic brain injury.

Hospital sources said she was presently on ventilator support.
