6 of family among 9 killed in road mishap in Haryana

Nine people, including six members of a family, were killed and ten others injured in a road accident involving three vehicles at Dhana Kalan village near Hansi on the national highway (NH)-10 near here today.
 
Police said the accident occurred when a tyre of a milk tanker burst and a car and a jeep collided with it. 
 
Among the deceased were six members of a family of Balambha village who were travelling in the jeep. They were identified as Ram Niwas, his wife Roshni Devi, their daughters Kajal and Asha, son Gaurav and Bala, a sister-in-law of Ram Niwas. 
 
Jeep driver Ved Prakash was also killed on the spot. Two of the deceased were yet to be identified.
 
The injured were admitted to various hospitals in Hisar and three of them were stated to be in a serious condition.
