P K Misra takes over as new Secretary, Steel

Mr P. K. Misra, an Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer of the 1976 batch (Uttar Pradesh cadre), has taken over as the new Secretary, Ministry of Steel.


Mr Misra has succeeded Mr Atul Chaturvedi. He was until now the Special Secretary and Establishment Officer in the Ministry of Personnel and Training.
