Debabrata Saha appointed as next Ambassador to Italy

Mr Debabrata Saha, currently India's Ambassador to Ukraine, has been appointed as the country's next Ambassador to Italy.

The Ministry of External Affairs also announced that Mr Rajiva Misra, at present Joint Secretary in the Ministry, had been appointed as the next Ambassador of India to the Slovak Republic. He will succeed Ms Homai Saha.

Both Mr Saha and Mr Misra are expected to take up their assignments shortly, the Ministry added.
